haven’t written in a long time because i’ve been busy and nobody cares but i’ve totally lost like 3kg so far and that’s a pretty big achievement for me.
i’ve stopped calorie counting because i felt it didn’t help and to be honest i’m a little too lazy, so instead i’m just making conscious decisions when it comes to what i should and shouldn’t be eating. it’s working!!!
Dear militant vegans of West Brunswick: please fuck off, or at least put your propaganda in the cage eggs rather than the organic free range ones I spend $4 more on. #vegan #earthlings #eggs #bullshit (at Union Square Shopping Centre)
Firstly, I think you’re unaware of exactly what ‘militant’ means. “Militant is usually used to describe a person engaged in aggressive verbal or physical combat” - this is a piece of paper placed inside an egg carton. There’s a difference.
"At least put your propaganda in the cage eggs” - did you read the note at all? The first line says “It’s true, whether it’s caged, barn-laid or free range.” This is not propaganda. This is fact. Male chicks are a waste product to the egg industry, whether their chickens are ‘free range’ or not.
Lastly, you might like to see what a free-range chicken farm really looks like:
- sanitarium sausage in pastry - 218 cal
- dahl and brown rice - 284 cal
- salad (mushrooms, cucumber, tomato, goji berries, baby spinach) - 38 cal
- banana - 105 cal
- fruit cup cordial - 64 cal
total: 816 cal
loss of 1142 calories! and after eight days i appear to have shed the first kilogram, congrats to me. i’m feeling better already and i’m starting to develop that attitude where i kind of feel bad if i’m not doing something… like i don’t enjoy sitting around doing nothing as much anymore. i guess that’s a good thing.
